Hey everybody, I'm finally updating my journal. I have some great news, I just bought a Canon Rebel XS otherwise known as the Canon 1000D. It is amazing, like holy crap, I will never go back to point and shoots again. I did a few test photos with Doger and they turned out amazing. I'm actually just about to upload a few. I totally love it!!! Anyhow, I am also leaving for Italy this friday. It's an art trip for Grade 11 and 12 students and I am so psyched that I am able to go. XD
It is gonna be amazing, and now with my new DSLR, I can be sure that ever moment is captured. I'm only going from October 30th to November 7th, but it's gonna be hella fun. I seriously can't wait. Since I won't be bringing my laptop with me, I won't be on while I'm in Italy, so if I don't respond, then that's why. But when I come back I am gonna have a ton to upload.
Anyhow, I'm gonna upload some pics now.

School started about 2 weeks ago and I'm already sick of it. Well not so much sick of school, but sick of seeing my teachers' faces. Luckily this week Day 0's start and I won't have to see them everyday... although I'll have to deal with idiot niners wasting hall space because they like to hall walk so much. Not only that but they walk in large groups at a rate of like 2 centimeters per minute. Makes me very pissy. Anyhow, I totally love my school self directed system, even if it has changed a lot this year because of the new principal and vice principals. So far, i really like bio, photo, and religion. They are all easy and fun. physics, math and chem not so much.
OMG i can't believe it's only a little more than a month before i go off to Italy. I am officially buying a Canon Rebel XS before I go and hopefully one of those new iPod Nanos.

I just got back from my trip to Cuba a few days ago. I had a lot of fun there; I went a swimming a lot and managed to get a bit tanned too. Over the next few days I'm going to upload a few of my better pictures from my adventure. Anyhow, now I'm back home in Canada and since I don't have summer school, I'm home free; other than work of course. I am planning on doing tons of things this summer. One of the things I have planned is another trip back home to El Salvador during the first week of August. I'll be going for a week like I usually do; that's the longest I can stand to be away from Doger and Petey, and from home in general.
Oh and guess what!! I just found out that this coming November I will going to Italy with my school. It's a trip for art students and since I am taking photography next year (of course), I am able to go! So that gives me a good reason to want to go back to school. Anyhow, that's all for now. Wow I haven't made a new journal for awhile. I have lots to tell. First-
OMG!! I turned sixteen!! So happy. I got lot's of stuff I wanted for my birthday, mainly books that I've been wanting, but never had the money for. AND I got a MACBOOK!!! I also got my first a go few weeks ago. I am now an official employee of Baskin Robbins. I know it's not the greatest job, but its something at least. I have been looking forward to working. I can't wait school is almost done and I am doing a few early exams this month: History and Business. In June I will have to do my: English, Math, Religion and Science exams but I think I'm gonna do alright on them. English and religion you don't even really have to study for.The last week of June I am going to Cuba; a late Birthday gift from my mom. AWESOME!! I am hoping to buy a new camera before I go, but there's no guarantee that I will. I just can't wait!!

YAY! My parents bought a tall tripod last weekend so now I have a good one for taking photos. Hopefully in May I will start working part-time at Baskin Robbin (Mmmmmhhh icecream) and then i'll save up enough money so possibly by the end of June I will have enough saved up for a nice SLR Nikon or Cannon camera; which works out nicely since I am going to Cuba at the end of June and El Salvador in August, so I will have a lot to take pictures of!! And next school year I'm going to take Photography, so hopefully I can learn a lot from that.
Anyways I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for photos or poems or even some advice on taking photos or on what SLR camera I should get. I'm not sure whether Nikon is better than Canon so I could use some tips.
So Suggestions Anyone???
